Gavin and George set up the Go-Pro Cameras with one behind and one infront.
This allows us to cut better if we need to, preferably we would have filmed using the DSLR\s for better quality but due to health and safety we were not able to.
Afterwards I drove us all back to my house as my parents had kindly offered to host the group for the night and take them to the airport at 3 AM.
We stripped down the amount of equipment we are taking as we had a size and weight limit with the suitcases, we found the the LED batteries contributed a large amount of the weight so instead of 6 we only took 4, this means we have to make sure we keep them charged but it shouldn't be a problem, we also left behind the heavy tripods for some smaller light weight ones.
We discovered that the Boom pole was too big to fit in a suitcase so Gavin improvised by using one of the lighting stands as an impromptu boom, it looks odd and isn't as good as a boom but improvising and solving problems like this is great practise for the future.
After dinner and a small production meeting to make sure we all were up to date we double checked the baggage to make sure it was under the weight limit and turned in for the night.
A few hours later we got up and my parents took us to the Airport, we went through the bag check and I was stopped as I had the LED lights in my bag and they were flagged up, I had to separate them and put them back through and it was no problem.
After this everything went smoothly and we took off and landed in Berlin Schochenfield where we picked up the car and Trine having the experience of driving on the other side of the road was the driver (which gave me a break).
Trine took us to the hotel (Hotel Big Mama) which had kindly allowed us to stay for 4 nights for free.
We dropped of the suitcases and took out the equipment we needed as we were filming at the Holocaust Memorial in only a few hours.
